AI Implementation Sprint — The Blueprint NZ

AI Implementation Sprint  ·  The Blueprint

AI that actually
runs in your business.

Six weeks. Three to five AI tools implemented, your team trained to use them, and a clear picture of what to build next. Not a workshop. Not a report. Tools running in your business.

The Situation

You know AI should be
helping your business.
The sprint is how it starts.

The 2026 Shaping Business Study found that NZ businesses no longer lack awareness or motivation to adopt AI. What they lack is the capability and confidence to implement it. The question has shifted from "should we use AI?" to "how do we actually make this work?"

The AI Implementation Sprint answers that question directly. We map your workflows, identify where AI can remove low-value work, implement the specific tools that do it, and train your team to use them. You do not leave with a roadmap and a recommendation. You leave with tools running.

Six weeks, fixed scope, fixed price. The sprint is designed to deliver a measurable productivity impact — not a starting point for a longer engagement.

What's Included

01
Workflow & AI Readiness Audit
A structured audit of your current workflows across sales, operations, finance, and customer communication. We identify where time is being lost to manual work and score each area by AI opportunity and implementation effort.
02
Tool Selection & Justification
Based on the audit, we select 3–5 tools specifically suited to your business, team size, and workflow. We explain exactly why each tool was chosen and what it will replace or augment.
03
Implementation
We build the tools into your existing systems — not alongside them. CRM integrations, proposal automation, reporting dashboards, communication workflows. Connected to what you already use.
04
Team Training & Handover
Hands-on training with the people who will use the tools every day. Not a walkthrough of features — a session built around your specific workflows so the team leaves confident, not cautious.
05
AI Implementation Report
A written record of what was built, how it works, and why. Includes tool documentation, integration notes, and a maintenance guide the team can follow without needing to call anyone.
06
30-Day Post-Sprint Check-in
A one-hour session 30 days after the sprint ends. We review adoption, address anything that has not stuck, and identify the most logical next step for the business.

How It Works

Six weeks.
Built around your business.

Week 01–02
Audit & Selection
We map your current workflows in detail — where time goes, what is manual, what is already partially automated. Every team member who will be affected is included. We score each workflow area by AI opportunity and implementation complexity and present the shortlist with our recommendation.
Deliverable
Workflow Audit Report · Tool Selection Recommendation
Week 02
Sign-off & Build Begins
You review and approve the tool selection. We finalise the implementation plan — which tools connect to which systems, what the team will need to change in how they work, and the training schedule. Build begins immediately on sign-off.
Deliverable
Implementation Plan · Approved Tool Stack
Week 03–04
Implementation
We build. Tools are connected to your existing systems, workflows are configured, and the integrations are tested before the team sees them. We do not hand you a login and a manual. We build it to work the way your business works.
Deliverable
3–5 tools live and tested in your environment
Week 05
Team Training
Hands-on training with the people who will use the tools. Sessions are built around your actual workflows, not generic feature walkthroughs. Everyone who needs to use a tool is trained on it before the sprint ends.
Deliverable
Training sessions completed · Team signed off per tool
Week 06
Handover & Report
We deliver the AI Implementation Report — a written record of every tool, how it works, and how to maintain it. We walk through the report with you, confirm adoption, and agree what the natural next step is for the business.
Deliverable
AI Implementation Report · Handover session
Day 30 post-sprint
Post-Sprint Check-in
One hour, 30 days after the sprint ends. We review what has been adopted, what has not stuck, and why. We address any issues and identify the highest-ROI next move — whether that is expanding what was built, adding a new tool, or leaving it to run.
Deliverable
Adoption review · Next step recommendation

Tools selected for
your workflows.

The specific tools built in each sprint depend entirely on what the workflow audit reveals. The categories below represent where we most commonly find the highest-value AI applications in NZ businesses at this stage. Every sprint is different — and that is the point.

We do not recommend tools we have not implemented. Every tool in the sprint has been tested in a real business context before it is recommended to you.

Sales & Pipeline
Proposal & quote automation
AI-assisted proposal generation that pulls from your existing templates and CRM data. Reduces proposal time from hours to minutes while improving consistency.
Operations
Workflow & task automation
Automated triggers, task creation, and handoffs that remove the manual coordination work sitting between your systems and your team.
Reporting & Visibility
Automated reporting dashboards
Business performance data pulled from your existing tools and presented in a format your team actually reads. No more manual report compilation.
Customer Communication
Follow-up & retention automation
Automated follow-up sequences, check-ins, and retention touchpoints that run without manual input — so nothing falls through the gap.
Content & Communication
AI writing & drafting tools
Trained on your tone and your business context so the output sounds like you, not like a chatbot. Useful for emails, briefs, summaries, and internal documentation.
Finance & Admin
Invoice & admin automation
Automated invoice creation, expense categorisation, and admin workflows connected to your accounting platform. Reduces the admin burden on the owner and the team.
Knowledge Management
AI-assisted documentation
Business knowledge captured and made searchable — so the answer to a question does not walk out the door when someone leaves.
Scheduling & Coordination
Meeting & calendar intelligence
Automated scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-up action capture — so less time is spent coordinating and more time is spent doing.

AI that your team
actually uses.

How to Start

Simple to begin.
Fast to deliver.

Step 01
Get in touch
Email james@theblueprint.net.nz or enquire above. We will confirm fit and timeline within 24 hours. If the sprint is not the right starting point we will tell you what is.
Step 02
Workflow audit
We spend the first two weeks mapping your current workflows in detail. Every person affected is involved. The audit is the foundation — no implementation happens until we understand exactly what we are building into.
Step 03
You approve the tool stack
We present the tool recommendation with clear justification for each choice. You sign off before we build anything. No surprises, no tool changes mid-sprint.
Step 04
We build, train, and hand over
Weeks three to six: implementation, training, and handover. The sprint ends when the tools are running and the team is confident — not when the six weeks are up.
